Emergence
This piece began with an unexpected observation.
As the paint gathered around her, Marcia looked at the image and quietly said,
“She’s becoming a peacock.”
From that moment on, we weren’t simply refining a portrait.
We were following a transformation.
The feathers, the colors, the light, and finally the paint itself all became part of the same story: not of someone pretending to be extraordinary, but of someone revealing what had always been there.
The paint never disappears.
It simply becomes part of who she is.
Sometimes becoming isn’t about changing into something new.
It’s about allowing what has always been inside to finally emerge.
